Wave After Wave

The crash on the shore, the salt in the air. I fall in love with the sound of the waves over and over again. The feeling of sand beneath my feet marks summer for me, marks the time for laughter and get-togethers.

Wave after wave, I can't help but anticipate the next one. Just keep your hands up, feel the wind in your hair.

I haven't been able to rise to the surface, submerged by everything that's been going on recently; moved back to my jersey home, started my first internship at a product development company, devoted a lot of my time to a scholarship case study, spending time with friends I've missed dearly. On this day, I released all the movements I've been holding back on. It's my haven; creating these shoots.

Adventures Await!

To 2015

Happy New Year, everyone!
(Yes, I know I'm like 7 days late. But anyhoots,..)
Every year that passes by just makes me so excited for a fresh, new year and fresh, new discoveries I will make about God's plan for my life.
It's been a pretty long year and I've accomplished and grown so much. I've grown bonds with so many people and I couldn't be happier. Towards the second half of 2014, I found myself being more jolly and happy than I usually am. God has definitely blessed me. He always has and I will be forever grateful for His works in my life.
There were definitely moments in 2014 where I just didn't want to relive or even remember, but I'm glad that I went through all of those moments. I've definitely grown so much.

Now, to 2015.
Oh, you know how I feel about 2015. #ClassOf2015
I'm graduating high school!
There are so many things happening this year and I just know that it'd be my favorite year. Spring Musical Legally Blonde, Germany/Prague trip, Senior Prom, High School Graduation, National Youth Camp, Youth/Family Camp, College, living in New York City.
Those are just the planned ones. What more, the unplanned ones.
I am beyond thrilled. Especially knowing that I'll be going through it with my family, friends and a special bear.
It's also a pretty nerve-wrecking year, since I'll be living without my family by September. Committing to a college is pretty crazy too. All that pressure on you.
Welllll...

Here's to 2015.
To all the good times and bad.
To all the laughter and tears.
To all the love we'll give and receive.
To all the expected and unexpected events.

"For I know the plans I have for you.
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
Plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

After so much preparation, hard work and keeping our focus on God,
we've done it!
Without a doubt in my heart, I know we've placed a big smile on God's face and that He is pleased with us. We may be young, but God will work in our lives.
Our lives will show how great our God is and we, youths, aren't ashamed to declare to this world.

Even if the congregation saw us performing, speaking, singing and dancing,
I pray that all of that led them closer to God and that they may praise Him because He is the only one who deserves all our praises.

Our youth group is very young and to see the younger youths ready to give their all to God and to serve Him with everything is just so amazing. I know that the Lord will just wonderfully work in their lives. iGen, keep at it! Let the Lord move in your lives. Seek Him with all your heart. Serve and devote yourself to Him and His people. Always prioritize God.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old,
he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6

Props to iGen for improving in punctualityyyy, woop woop! I know it's hard
breaking Filipino habits, but we've done it! Don't stop, won't stop, iGen.

This is just the beginning.

Adventures await!
